The sign includes a self-diagnostic feature that automatically performs monthly, biannual, and annual tests, ensuring compliance with life safety codes and reliable operation. The ultra-bright, energy-efficient red or green LEDs are housed within a UV-stabilized, ultra-clear acrylic edge-lit panel, providing uniform lighting. The double-faced design includes factory-installed silver or white mylar panels for optimal visibility.
Operating on a dual 120/277 voltage system, this exit sign also has an optional multi-tap for 208/220/240 volts. A charge rate/power “ON” LED indicator and a push-to-test switch ensure compliance with code testing requirements. The 4.8V maintenance-free rechargeable NiCd battery provides a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency illumination and recharges within 24 hours through a fully automatic, two-rate charger.
Installation is straightforward, with compatibility for drywall or drop ceiling mounts using included bar hangers. An EZ-snap mounting canopy allows for top, end, or back mounting. The housing is crafted from premium grade extruded aluminum and features a detachable trim for easy service access. Available in black or white powder-coated finishes, it comes with self-adhesive chevrons and a guide template for directional indicators.
This exit sign is UL listed for damp locations, meets UL924, NFPA101, NEC, and OSHA codes, and comes with a five-year warranty on all electronics and housing. Batteries are pro-rated for five years. Options for clear, mirror, or white panels, along with black, white, or aluminum trim, allow for customization to suit any environment.
